The neighbours on the left and the neighbours on the right

Initially, the neighbours on the left (private residents) were more open to being filmed, and engaged much more with me. The neighbours on the right were more reserved (one family in particular), and I believe this may have been because of a language barrier and perhaps even cultural barrier.

Both of my immediate neighbours are family households, and I am aware that both of the parents do not speak much english, so perhaps they felt uncomfortable speaking to me whilst being recorded.

The neighbours on the left seem generally younger, and more 'hipster', perhaps more comfortable with being filmed, and have an easier time communicating with me.
